Gaza Rocket Fire Hits Israel – Again

In case you missed it, Israel was again under rocket fire from Hamas-controlled Gaza this week.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for world outcry and condemnation, though.

On November 19, 2010 the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) announced that the IAF (air force) ”struck three terror sites in the Gaza Strip, with direct hits being identified.”

According to the IDF, “the targeting of these terror-linked sites was in response to the firing of rockets at Israel’s Southern communities over the past two days: ten mortar shells were fired and landed in open territories and a Grad rocket was fired early this morning, causing damage.” (emphasis added)

In its statement, the IDF said that it “holds the Hamas terrorist organization solely responsible for maintaining the calm in the Gaza Strip and for any terrorist activity emanating from it. The IDF will also continue to respond harshly to any attempt to use terror against the State of Israel.”
