Israeli Archeologists Strike Gold Near Temple Mount

“A Hebrew University archeologist captivated a densely-packed press conference at the Mount Scopus campus Monday morning [today] upon unveiling what is called the “Ophel Treasure,” a collection of 36 gold and silver coins, and large gold medallion believed to date back to 614 CE.”
