In October, we shared the story of Seton Hall University basketball player Tom Maayan, his IDF basic training, and his permission to return to the US to resume his academic and athletic pursuits.

Military service is universal and essential for the protection of Israel, and Mr. Maayan’s short-term exemption has come to an end – an emotional one at that for his Seton Hall family.
