IDE Technologies is building a desalination plant “for the San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) that will provide clean water to about 300,000 people and generate over $50m annually to the regional economy.”

“The project is located at the Encina Power Station in the City of Carlsbad.  Construction on the plant and pipeline is under way and the project will be delivering water to the businesses and residents in San Diego County by 2016.”
